Goods Traffic at the Port of Barcelona Grows 2% in Seven Months

The Port of Barcelona recorded a 2% growth in total cargo movement during the first seven months of the year, reaching 41.7 million tons. The increase covered all types of transfers: containers rose 1.5% to 2.2 million TEUs, bulk liquids grew 2.7%, and new automobiles increased 4.6% with 444,029 units. Passenger traffic also increased by 5.3%, totaling 3.2 million movements.
