Guayaquil Consolidates its Position as Ecuador's Main Logistics Hub

Guayaquil continues to consolidate its position as Ecuador's main logistics and foreign trade hub, supported by its strategic location, port infrastructure, and business dynamism. Between 85% and 90% of the country's non-oil foreign trade moves through its ports and area of influence, reaffirming its role as a key axis for commercial exchange.

The growth of non-oil exports and the demand for more efficient supply chains are driving new investments in logistics infrastructure. In this context, Grupo Entregas announced the opening of Guayaquil's first 100% sustainable Logistics Hub, equipped with smart warehouses, real-time technology, and solutions focused on operational sustainability.

The strengthening of logistics infrastructure will contribute to improving the competitiveness of Ecuadorian foreign trade and the efficiency of port operations. The incorporation of sustainable technologies and new distribution centers will optimize the connectivity of logistics chains and allow for greater capacity to respond to the demands of international trade.
