Carnival Cruise Line continued its patriotic events ahead of US Independence Day with special celebrations at Port Tampa Bay, Jacksonville and Long Beach.
The line is an official America250 partner.
"As America's cruise line, we're proud to celebrate America's 250th anniversary in our homeport cities," Carnival President Christine Duffy said. "We're bringing people together to honor our nation, celebrate the local community and thank those who protect our freedom."
At various events, Carnival is welcoming community partners, veterans, business leaders and government officials to commemorate the historic milestone.
Grounded in Carnival's long-standing tradition of honoring military personnel, the celebrations have included a dedicated military tribute recognizing active-duty service members, local veterans and first responders. Each military member is being presented a specially designed, limited-edition America250 challenge coin.

During embarkation for Carnival Paradise at Tampa and Carnival Elation at Jacksonville, a 40-foot-tall inflatable bald eagle was displayed on the top deck and Dr. Seuss's The Cat in the Hat appeared in a patriotic outfit.
At the Port of Long Beach, Carnival Radiance was topped by a 40-foot inflatable red, white and blue star. The Dominguez High School Marine Corps Junior ROTC Color Guard was on hand.
America250 festivities were held earlier at the Port of Baltimore.
In coming days passengers across the Carnival fleet will experience special activities, and several ships will meet up to watch fireworks on the Atlantic and Pacific coasts.
