Auckland Mayor Wayne Brown is one of the second round of speakers and panellists announced for the New Zealand Cruise Association 2026 conference in Shed 10 on Queens Wharf in Auckland on August 13.
The others are: Josh Dolgoy, head of government relations Oceania for the Royal Caribbean Group; Rene de Monchy, Tourism New Zealand CEO; Dan-Bunkering's Ben Richardson; Patrick O'Sullivan, Christchurch's destinations & experience manager; CentrePort Wellington's Andrew Locke and Ecozip Adventure Tour's Gavin Oliver.
They join the first list of speakers/panellists headed by Tourism and Hospitality Minister Louise Upston.
With the theme "From No Zealand to New Zealand," the conference will look at ways to win ship visits back.
CEO Jacqui Lloyd said the programme is one of the strongest yet, with delegates to discuss how to rebuild confidence, win deployment and deliver world-class cruise experiences.
'This is a must-attend event for anyone with a stake in the future of cruise in New Zealand,' Lloyd said.
