The Superintendence of the Port of Itajaí (SPI) informs that the arrival of the large trailing suction hopper dredger HAM316 is scheduled for next Saturday, November 7, replacing the dredger Utrecht, initially programmed for Wednesday (4).
The change was communicated by the company Van Oord, responsible for the dredging services, due to the need for maintenance of the Utrecht. The company has already informed the Brazilian Navy of the new estimated arrival of the vessel.
The SPI emphasizes that maintenance dredging services continue to be performed daily by the dredger Njord, using Water Injection Dredging (WID) technology, without interruption of activities.
The HAM316 will carry out a complementary dredging campaign to maintain the depths of the access channel, reinforcing permanent actions for navigation safety and the continuity of operations in the Port Complex of Itajaí.
