Ecuador presented a portfolio of strategic projects under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model in Panama, with the aim of attracting private investment for infrastructure development. The proposal was presented to entrepreneurs, investors, and financial institutions.
The portfolio contemplates an estimated investment of USD 3.374 million and includes the Guayaquil Southern Viaduct; the Esmeraldas Commercial Port; and the Galapagos Logistics and Supply System, among others. It also includes initiatives to improve connectivity and the national logistics system.
These projects seek to modernize logistics infrastructure and facilitate national and international trade. In addition, they will strengthen the movement of products such as bananas, shrimp, cocoa, and mining production, as well as expand the capacities of Ecuadorian ports.
