Terminal Portuario de Manta (TPM) welcomed the Japanese Ambassador to Ecuador, Horiuchi Hoshihiko, along with representatives of the Manta Port Authority, on a protocol visit to the port facilities. The delegation learned about the operational management and infrastructure of this multipurpose terminal.
During the tour, visitors observed the unloading operations of a car carrier, a bulk carrier, and several tuna vessels. These activities demonstrate the diversity of operations carried out in the port and its participation in logistics and commercial activities.
The visit allowed for the sharing of experiences on port management and strengthened ties between Ecuador and Japan. This approach opens opportunities to promote international cooperation and foster new initiatives related to logistics, maritime transport, and foreign trade.
