A delegation from the Qingtian Chinese Business Association in Spain traveled to the Port of Castellón to get a first-hand look at the port facilities, visit the docks, and identify business opportunities.
During the meeting, the President of the Port Authority, Rubén Ibáñez, who led the expedition, conveyed PortCastelló's potential as a strategic hub for the development of business and logistics activities. He provided an overview of the infrastructure's current situation and reviewed some ongoing projects, such as the floating offshore wind hub in the southern dock.
In his speech, Ibáñez referred to the port's logistical and operational capacity, the boost in traffic, supported by accelerated growth driven by the recent versatility of the terminals, and also explained some of the advantages PortCastelló offers compared to other ports.
"From an operational and infrastructure standpoint, the Port of Castellón currently offers many possibilities for future investors," assured the head of the Port Authority, who highlighted its growth capacity, with available land for the establishment of companies in the southern dock, its pricing policy and cost savings, agility, and improved connectivity with strategic infrastructures such as the intermodal station or the completion of railway accesses, "which place us in a reference position in the Mediterranean and make us an excellent business option."
