The Port of San Diego has officially inaugurated its largest cruise season in the last 15 years. Terminal authorities indicated that they expect a total of 183 scheduled voyages to be handled during the 2026-2027 season.
The period for serving tourist vessels in the coming months officially began at the Southern California terminal with the arrival of Princess Cruises' Ruby Princess at the docks.
This season, authorities expect more than 700,000 cruise passengers to visit San Diego, with new homeports for Royal Caribbean International ships, as well as a second Disney Cruise Line ship joining the schedule.
