Itineraries included in Silversea's 2028-2029 Voyage Collection target remote islands in the Mediterranean and North Atlantic. The programme combines exclusive access, immersive nature experiences and authentic regional culture off the beaten tourist path.
Patmos in Greece, a sacred island of the Dodecanese, has retained much of its authenticity and largely escaped mass tourism. Alongside historically significant landmarks such as the Monastery of Saint John, passengers can embark on curated excursions and tastings at the island's wineries.
Folegandros, Greece, serves as a tranquil alternative to Santorini, celebrated for Chora village and Panagia Church overlooking the Aegean Sea. There will be chances for informal gatherings there with locals over food and dancing.
The fishing village of Vis, Croatia – one of the Adriatic's more isolated islands – features excursions to the Blue Cave on neighbouring Biševo Island. Exclusive wine tastings at traditional local wineries are available.
Linked to Homer's Odyssey, the protected national park of Mljet in Croatia provides opportunities for guided hikes, plus a ferry ride to a secluded monastery atop an island in a saltwater lake.
The Shiant Islands in the Hebrides offer a paradise for birdwatchers, home to one of Scotland's largest puffin colonies. Passengers can observe the birds from kayaks against dramatic basalt cliffs.
The Orkney Islands in northern Scotland offer passengers opportunities to sample local gins and whiskies with a distinctive smoky character that comes from the region's peat-rich soils.
Striking coastal scenery, more than 5,000 years of history and wild Shetland ponies are found across the Shetland Islands in the northernmost part of the British Isles.
Passengers can observe subtropical plants across the Isles of Scilly's five inhabited islands, particularly in the expansive Tresco Tropical Garden.
