Viking Announces Itinerary Changes for August 19 Rhine River Cruise

Viking notified passengers of itinerary changes for the August 19, 2026, sailing of the Viking Idun due to historically low water levels on the Rhine River. The seven-night cruise from Trier to Basel will require passengers to change ships in Cochem, Germany, before transferring to Strasbourg, France, by motorcoach. Shore excursion programs may also change, with some tours potentially canceled.
