Century Star completes shipyard phase for European river cruise debut

Century River Cruises' Century Star has completed its shipyard phase and entered final outfitting ahead of its European debut. The vessel's inaugural voyage is scheduled from Budapest to Passau on September 18th, with preview sailings beginning August 11th. The Concordia Damen-built ship features hybrid propulsion and a recycled-steel hull, and is the first of three new European riverboats planned for delivery over the next two years.
