Following our previous communication regarding the earthquake affecting the Buenaventura area, we would like to provide an update on the recovery efforts and operational status.
Our priority continues to be the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, partners, and the local communities impacted by this event. We remain in close coordination with authorities, terminal operators, and logistics partners to support the safe and gradual restoration of services.
Terminal and Landside Operations
Recovery activities at Buenaventura continue to make steady progress.
Partial road closures with controlled traffic flows and some restrictions on cargo movement:

The port recovery plan continues to advance, allowing for the gradual reintroduction of vessel activity.
The first vessel call following the earthquake is expected on 14 August, with additional Maersk vessel calls planned thereafter.
Our operations teams remain closely coordinated with terminal operators and relevant authorities to support a safe and efficient return to regular service levels.

The overall recovery trajectory remains positive, with daily progress being made across terminal, landside, and ocean operations. While some transportation constraints and operational disruptions remain, recovery efforts continue to advance across the supply chain.
