Manta Port welcomed the MS Crystal Symphony, a 238-meter-long vessel flying the Bahamian flag, which marked the start of the 2026-2027 cruise season. The ship arrived at International Pier 2 from San Diego, en route to Guayaquil.
The cruise ship, belonging to Crystal Cruises, arrived with 483 passengers, mostly Americans, and 503 crew members. The vessel is characterized by its ultra-luxury service and personalized attention, with a high crew-to-passenger ratio.
Although the MS Crystal Symphony has previously called at Manta, this was its first arrival under TPM's administration. The terminal hosted a reception on board with the captain and his team as part of the welcome activities for the new season.
