Shearwater Geoservices will conduct a new multi-client 3D seismic survey in the Norwegian Sea. The study is supported by the industry, and data acquisition is expected to commence in August 2026.
"This project focuses on recently awarded areas and potential available fields, marking our multi-client expansion on the Norwegian continental shelf and adding a high-quality order book for our fleet," stated Irene Waage Basili, CEO of Shearwater.
The Amazon Conqueror will be deployed for an approximately seven-week survey, utilizing Shearwater's state-of-the-art Isometrix seismic cable technology to acquire high-quality seismic data across the entire project area.
Shearwater is a marine geoscience and technology company specializing in offshore data acquisition. The organization uses state-of-the-art vessels and seismic equipment to explore the seabed and processes the data using proprietary software.
