The National Ports Administration of Uruguay ( ANP) received a visit from representatives of the government of Paraguay at the Punta Sayago Logistics Port. Members of the company JSN also participated in the meeting.
According to the ANP, "the initial proposal of the initiative focuses on the installation of a truck center designed to provide comprehensive operational and logistical services that will result in greater agility, security, and efficiency in handling cargo of Paraguayan origin and destination in transit."
"The proposal seeks to optimize logistical times and costs, as well as continuous improvement in the operational attention of road transport," the publication stated.
Furthermore, it was detailed that "the meeting addressed general aspects of the project aimed at organizing the land logistical flow and decongesting operational areas in the port of Montevideo."
The meeting was led by the President of the ANP, Pablo Genta, and the Vice Minister of Investments and Exports of Paraguay, Eduardo Gustale.
