The National Autonomous Authority for the strategic and comprehensive development of the Chancay Multipurpose Port Terminal (Ana Chancay) is promoting actions for the financing of the Portfolio of Strategic Territorial Investments in the Port.
Among other functions, Ana Chancay is responsible for:
It should be noted that within the framework of Legislative Decree 1659, the CIET, containing 21 public investment projects, was approved in 2025 by Ministerial Resolution 054-2025-PCM.
Since its establishment in February of this year, Ana Chancay, through its Executive Directorate, has held meetings with the competent sectors for the CIET projects, such as the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Transport and Communications, and the National Program for Health Investments.
Furthermore, it has coordinated with the Regional Government of Lima, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the municipalities, with the aim of promoting the initiation of direct social impact projects in areas such as:
Ana Chancay, in coordination with ANIN, has as its priority and objective to implement alternative financing mechanisms for the projects contained in the CIET, in order to promote social development and close gaps for the benefit of the population.
In this context, working meetings have been held with the private sector, such as the National Society of Industries and Adex, as well as with international representation, to evaluate cooperation and coordination mechanisms for the benefit of the population.
Additionally, meetings have been held with academia, such as with the rector of the National University of San Marcos, Dr. Jerí Ramón Ruffer de Vega, as it is the first university with a campus in Chancay; likewise, working sessions have been held with the national representation of Lima-Provinces.
The actions carried out materialize the agreement of Ana Chancay's Board of Directors to prioritize the CIET projects and reaffirm the institutional commitment to achieve economic and social development, improving the quality of life of Peruvian residents in the port's areas of influence.
