The Empresa Portuaria Puerto Montt (Empormontt) announced the appointment of Andrés Gómez Errázuriz as its new general manager, a decision adopted by the board of directors of the state-owned port company.
According to an Essential Fact submitted to the Commission for the Financial Market (CMF), the board agreed to appoint Gómez Errázuriz to the position effective August 25, 2026.
The decision was made during the fifth extraordinary session of the Empormontt board of directors, held on July 28, 2026. The communication was signed by the company's chairman of the board, Fernando Amenábar Morales.
With the incorporation of the new general manager, the appointment of Alejandro González Fuenzalida as interim general manager will cease on the same date, a role he had assumed and which was reported through an Essential Fact on July 10, 2026.
