The Paperless Port System (PSP), managed by the Ministry of Ports and Airports (MPor), will expand digital integration with companies operating in the port sector and automate steps currently performed manually. IntegraPSP and Suprinav were presented this Tuesday (6), during the Brasil Export National Forum, in Brasília, when the IntegraPSP Consent Term was also signed, a necessary step for the solution to advance.
Developed in partnership with the Federal Data Processing Service (Serpro), the tools allow private systems to connect to the PSP digital environment and expand process automation. This can reduce manual activities, errors and rework, in addition to speeding up operations, improving the quality of information and increasing security in data exchange between companies and public systems.
According to the National Secretary of Ports, Alex Ávila, the solutions were designed to respond to concrete demands from the sector. "We are talking about less paper, less rework, less bureaucracy and more efficiency. We are talking about simpler processes, faster decisions and safer operations. We are talking about a State that uses technology to generate value, stimulate investments and support economic growth," he highlighted.
Serpro's Government Business Director, Ermes Ferreira Costa Neto, highlighted the gains in integration and automation. "Suprinav and IntegraPSP advance in the same direction: to give more autonomy, integration, security and agility to processes. With more automation and direct communication between company systems and government platforms, we can reduce bureaucracy, decrease errors and increase productivity and efficiency," he stated.
One of the novelties is the integration of suppliers of goods and services to ships into the Paperless Port. During the panel, the CEO of the Brazilian Association of Ship Suppliers and Services (ABFN), Flávio de Carvalho Pierotti, highlighted the relevance of the solution for the sector and classified the integration of these companies into the Paperless Port as a milestone for the segment. "This is a milestone for our segment. For years we have been looking for a solution like this. Suprinav will insert small and medium-sized supplier companies into the Paperless Port, bringing more dynamism, efficiency, cost reduction and greater integration to port processes. This strengthens an essential activity for serving vessels and their crews," he highlighted.
IntegraPSP is a solution composed of a structured set of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), technology that allows direct and automated communication between different systems. The tool will enable corporate systems of authorized companies to communicate directly with the digital services of the Paperless Port, with standardized and secure exchange of operational information. In practice, this reduces the need for consultations on portals, sending files and other manual steps.
Suprinav, in turn, is aimed at integrating suppliers with the PSP. The solution allows companies that supply goods and services to ships to carry out, in a digital environment, procedures related to port access and supply to vessels. The tool allows registration of companies and teams, access requests, registration of supplies and monitoring of operations. The proposal is to reduce intermediation, expand traceability and standardize the information that circulates during these activities.
Both solutions expand the connection of the Paperless Port with companies directly involved in port operations. The system, which already gathers data and documents related to the stay of vessels in ports and the consents of competent bodies in a digital environment, now incorporates new forms of direct communication with private systems.
Consolidated as an instrument for reducing bureaucracy and modernizing the port sector, the system provides greater agility to processes and efficiency to port and foreign trade operations.
