Tripartite Negotiation in Uruguay for Dredger Personnel Agreement

The Ministry of Labor and Social Security of Uruguay ( MTSS) has entered the negotiation process for the special agreement being carried out by the National Port Administration ( ANP) with the Single Union. Specifically, the discussions aim to reach an agreement benefiting personnel working on dredgers.

According to the ANP, "after several months of bipartite dialogue between the National Port Administration (ANP) and the Single Union of the National Port Administration (SUANP), the negotiation of the collective agreement for personnel working on dredgers has entered a tripartite stage, with the mediation of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security (MTSS)."

Furthermore, it was reported that "the objective of this instance is to address issues on which no agreement has been reached in the bipartite negotiation, which also remains active."

"The participation of the National Directorate of Labor of the MTSS aims to facilitate the exchange between the parties," the publication concluded.
