DNV has awarded two Approval in Principle (AiP) certificates to CIMC Raffles for its generic FPSO jack-up platform and BT-400 PAU designs.
Independently developed by CIMC Raffles, the generic FPSO is a standardized floating production unit with comprehensive oil and gas processing capabilities and large-capacity crude oil storage, adapting to the diverse demands of offshore field development.
The BT 400 PAU jack-up platform is a custom-designed jack-up platform for the European operator OIM. Built for well plugging, cementing, and platform decommissioning operations, it is suitable for the harsh maritime conditions of the Norwegian North Sea and US coastal waters, providing support for offshore facility decommissioning projects.
CIMC Raffles and DNV maintain long-term cooperation in offshore equipment R&D, standard verification, and certification. Both parties will continue to drive essential technologies for marine equipment as CIMC Raffles expands the development of high-end offshore equipment and strengthens its global project execution and technical service capabilities.
