Capital Clean Energy Carriers announced that it has received its third liquefied CO2 multi-gas vessel, which was named Alkimos.
Following its delivery from HD Hyundai Samho shipyard, the 22,000 cubic meter HMG/C Alkimos began a charter contract until May 2027.
According to the loan terms, the company can borrow an additional amount of up to $8.1 million if the vessel secures long-term employment.
The Alkimos is the third state-of-the-art HMG/C delivered to Capital Clean Energy Carriers, bringing the total number of vessels in service to 21.
Its fleet consists of 15 state-of-the-art methane carriers (LNG/C), one Neo-Panamax container ship, two dual-fuel medium gas carriers (MG/C), and three heavy methane carriers (HMG/C).
Additionally, units under construction include six additional state-of-the-art methane carriers, four MG/Cs, one HMG/C, and one dual-fuel LNG supply vessel, with delivery scheduled between the first quarter of 2027 and the first quarter of 2029.
