Centurion Bulk officially welcomed the Centurion Spartacus to its fleet after the corresponding dispatch ceremony. The vessel was delivered for long-term charter on September 11, 2026.
The new addition to the company, which specializes in global chartering and operations within the Handy to Ultramax markets, is precisely a 64,000 DWT Ultramax category vessel.
The received vessel was built by Imabari Shipbuilding in Japan and joins a growing fleet of modern bulk carriers manufactured in that Asian country. The unit is owned by Daiwa Kisen.
"We want to extend a big thank you to Daiwa Kisen and everyone involved in the creation of this project. We wish the Centurion Spartacus and its crew a safe and successful life ahead," Centurion Bulk executives stated at the delivery ceremony.
