César Luna Victoria Appointed as New Head of Sunat

The Executive Branch has appointed César Alfonso Luna Victoria León as the head of the National Superintendence of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat), through supreme resolution N° 027-2026-EF published in the Official Gazette El Peruano. The measure was signed by President Keiko Fujimori Higuchi and Minister Elmer Cuba Bustinza. The resignation of Javier Eduardo Franco Castillo was accepted.
