Chancay Obtains First Certification from MINAM's Peru Carbon Footprint Program

In its first year of operations, COSCO SHIPPING Ports Chancay Peru marked a key milestone in its environmental strategy by obtaining its first star from the Peru Carbon Footprint program, an official recognition granted by the Ministry of Environment (MINAM). This distinction validates the terminal's commitment to measuring, managing, and reducing its greenhouse gas emissions.

From its conception, the Port of Chancay was designed under a cutting-edge model focused on eco-efficiency. The achievement of this award is due to the implementation of clean infrastructure and technologies in the mega-port, highlighting:
