Peru's Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism led the XVI Technical Roundtable for the Logistics Operability of Foreign Trade in the Callao-Chancay axis. The meeting brought together public entities, business associations, and private stakeholders involved in the logistics chain.
During the session, progress and challenges in infrastructure, port operations, and the digitalization of foreign trade processes were reviewed. Actions aimed at reducing logistics times and costs in this strategic corridor were also coordinated.
Among the topics addressed were the development of the Callao foreport, the works on the Chancay bridge, and the Chancay-Chancayllo bypass. The Technical Roundtable will continue to monitor these projects to improve the connectivity and logistics competitiveness of Peruvian foreign trade.
