Houthi Attacks Target Two Saudi Oil Tankers in Red Sea Blockade
Yemen's Houthi movement claimed responsibility for strikes on two Saudi oil tankers, Encelia and Layla, using ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones. The attacks followed the group's announcement of a naval blockade against Saudi Arabia. UKMTO reported a tanker struck approximately 70 nautical miles southwest of Al Shuqaiq, with a fire onboard that crew members were fighting. The Houthis claimed to have forced approximately ten ships to retreat and vowed to continue attacks under a "siege for a siege" strategy.
