Container Ship Yanina Sunk by Drones; 17 Crew Members Rescued
The 142.7-metre container ship Yanina was struck by two Ukrainian drones on 1 August near the Russian port of Novorossiysk. All 17 crew members were rescued by the Black Sea Fleet and merchant vessel Delphinus. Russian state-owned Rosatom claims the vessel carried civilian cargo, while Ukraine asserts it was a sanctioned ship assisting the war effort.
