Oil Shuttle Trade Rebounds Through Strait of Hormuz Amid Tensions
Oil shuttle operations through the Strait of Hormuz have resumed after a recent slowdown, with satellite data showing increased ship-to-ship transfers near Sohar and Fujairah. At least two shippers are now ferrying volumes close to pre-escalation levels, with estimates suggesting 4 to 7 million barrels daily crossed the waterway prior to June's interim peace deal. US Energy Secretary Chris Wright confirmed the American military continues escorting approximately 13 million barrels daily from the Gulf.
