Iran Missile Attack on ADNOC Vessel Escalates Strait of Hormuz Tensions
The UAE condemned an Iranian attack on an ADNOC oil carrier in the Strait of Hormuz on August 8, accusing Tehran of "acts of piracy." The incident marks the latest in a series of assaults on the state company's fleet; ADNOC reported 15 of its vessels have been attacked by missiles and drones since the conflict began on February 28, resulting in one crew member killed and 20 injured.
