Ship Doctor app launched to enhance maritime medical professional confidence
Educational app 'Ship Doctor: Maritime ER Sim' was launched by Dr Ezekiel Osolika, an emergency physician with four years of maritime experience. The offline medical simulation tool has achieved nearly 5,000 downloads on Google Play Store with a four-and-a-half star rating. Designed to support doctors, nurses and paramedics aboard cruise ships and expedition vessels, the app simulates complex emergency scenarios including resource management and coordination with bridge, telemedicine and coast guard services.
