HD Hyundai Robotics Secures Order for Robotic Welding Solutions from Chouest Group, Establishing a Strategic Foothold for Global Smart Yard Expansion
HD Hyundai Robotics secured an order for its ArcLift GO robotic welding solution from Chouest Group Shipyards on May 7, 2026. The contract includes supply to three Chouest Group shipyards in North America, including Louisiana, and one shipyard in Brazil. The technology addresses the structural shortage of skilled welders in U.S. shipyards through a phased approach enabling operators with limited robotic experience to simultaneously operate multiple robots.
