Turkish Cargo Vessel Ata 2 Hit by Drone Attack in Black Sea
The general cargo vessel Ata 2, owned by Turkish shipping company Albatros Corporation, sustained major damage after a drone attack in the Black Sea near Odesa on 30 July. All 13 crewmembers—12 Azerbaijani and one Turkish seafarer—remained safe with no injuries reported. The attack marks the 11th Turkish or Turkish-linked vessel damaged since Russia's full-scale invasion, and the third in July following incidents on Golden Leo and Reyhan Sari.
