Customs seizes over USD 2 million in smuggled technology in San Antonio
The San Antonio Regional Customs Directorate seized a container with 364,602 units of technology products from brands such as Apple, Samsung, JBL, and Xiaomi, valued at USD 2,340,838. The container had been declared as "household items" but contained only smuggled technology. Director Ángelo Vergara reported that over 2,200,000 units have already been seized during 2026.
