PortCastelló Grows 20% in May in Goods Movement
The Port Authority of Castellón grew 20% in May in goods movement, well above the 3.15% of other Spanish terminals. Between January and May, it handled 8.3 million tons with an accumulated increase of 11.5%, compared to a national average of 0.3%. General cargo in containers soared by 62.8%, and containers in TEU rose by 57.8%, while solid bulk grew by 14%, consolidating its third national position.
