RWS Global appointed Matt Conover as divisional president, global production, following his 37-year career at The Walt Disney Company.
He will be based at the company's global's New York City headquarters.
The appointment establishes a new role, designed to strengthen operational leadership as RWS Global expands internationally.
Conover's Disney career began in 1989 as a stage technician at Walt Disney World, progressing through leadership positions across Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney Imagineering. His production work has covered the US, Asia and Europe.
Most recently serving as VP, Disney Live Entertainment at Disneyland Resort, Conover led a team of more than 400 producers, directors, designers and technical professionals.
His experience extends beyond theme parks and cruise lines to include two Super Bowl halftime shows, NBA All-Star Games and partnerships with the Savannah Bananas on live activations across the US.
In his new position, Conover will oversee production strategy, planning and company-wide execution, working with creative, business and operational teams to support projects from development through delivery.
RWS Global creates more than one million live moments daily across more than 50 countries.

Beyond production leadership, Conover has served as chairman of the board of trustees for the Educational Theatre Foundation since 2017 and spent nearly a decade on the Educational Theatre Association's board.
