The National Port Authority (APN) of Peru and the Supervisory Agency for Investment in Public Transport Infrastructure (Ositran) signed a collaboration agreement to strengthen the security of the Port of Callao. The agreement will allow the supervisory institution to have a 24-hour video monitoring system to reinforce its work of inspecting operations in maritime terminals, within the framework of its legal attributions. As part of the agreement, Ositran will install, operate, and maintain the aforementioned system, while the APN will provide the necessary infrastructure in the Control, Communications, and Emergency Response Center (CCCRE), strengthening the supervision of the port facility and port services through technological tools and inter-institutional coordination.
