The National Agency for Waterway Transportation (ANTAQ) has made available the new version of the Chartering System in Maritime and Support Navigation (SAMA), a tool used for the management and monitoring of chartering operations within waterway navigation.
The update integrates the Agency's modernization and digital transformation actions and includes improvements aimed at system stability, security, performance, and enhancement of user experience.
Among the main advances implemented, the following stand out:
The new version of SAMA was developed in partnership between the Superintendence of Grants (SOG), through the Management of Chartering in Maritime and Support Navigation (GAF), and the General Secretariat (SGE), through the Information Technology Management (GGTI).
This delivery corresponds to the first stage of implementation of the new version of the system, which will be made available gradually, in subsequent phases.
At this moment, the cabotage circularization functionality is available. The other navigation modalities and functionalities will be made available in the next implementation stages.
