Ecuador exported over 1.05 million tons of organic products during 2025, positioning itself as the second global supplier in this segment. Bananas, broccoli, shrimp, and mangoes spearheaded the national exportable offerings.

The country has 79,448 certified hectares and an offering of 2,297 organic agricultural products, including primary and processed goods. This diversification expands commercial opportunities and strengthens the incorporation of added value into national production.

The United States, the European Union, and Japan remain among the main destinations for these products. In the European market, Ecuador ranked first as an external supplier of organic products for the fifth consecutive year, consolidating its presence in international trade.
