Puerto Bolívar is advancing in the modernization of its infrastructure with a new refrigerated warehouse, whose construction is 93% complete. The facility aims to strengthen the logistics chain for perishable products destined for international markets.
The infrastructure will have 17,000 square meters and capacity for more than 15,000 pallets, incorporating automated storage, refrigeration, and digital control systems. Its operation will allow cargo to be stored before the arrival of vessels, maintaining the cold chain and optimizing export processes.
The project will contribute to improving shipment planning, reducing operational times, and strengthening Puerto Bolívar's competitiveness in foreign trade. Furthermore, its integration with new maritime routes and improvements in land access aims to consolidate its logistical capacity to handle the growth of Ecuadorian exports.
