Shark Attack Kills Man On Australia's Great Barrier Reef

A 39-year-old man died after being attacked by a shark on Sunday while spearfishing at Kennedy Shoal, around 45 km off Queensland's coast, marking the second fatal shark attack in Australia this month. Queensland Police Service Inspector Elaine Burns reported the victim died from a critical head injury and was retrieved by another person in the water. The death follows a 38-year-old mauled off an island near Perth on May 16.
