Looking to explore new markets, gain insight into local developments, or connect with key decision-makers overseas? To support this, the port community can rely on Port of Antwerp-Bruges' international network of representatives.
Spread across strategic regions worldwide, our representatives serve as the local eyes and ears of Port of Antwerp-Bruges. Thanks to their deep market knowledge, extensive network, and strong grasp of the local economic and political landscape, they help both the port and our community's businesses identify and capitalise on international opportunities more quickly. Their added value can be summarised in three key roles.
Our representatives closely monitor economic and logistical developments in their region. They identify new market opportunities, highlight emerging trends, and map out potential leads for sectors of strategic importance to Port of Antwerp-Bruges and the port community.
They possess up-to-date knowledge of local markets, regulations, investment plans, and logistics developments. These insights help businesses make better-informed international decisions and respond more quickly to market shifts.
Thanks to their strong local networks, our representatives connect businesses with potential clients, partners, government authorities, industry associations, and other key stakeholders. They help facilitate the right introductions and pave the way for new collaborations and commercial opportunities.
Our representatives are part of a global network that meets annually during REP Week in Antwerp and Zeebrugge. During that week, they share experiences, receive updates on the latest developments at the port, set their objectives for the coming year and meet colleagues and local businesses. This ensures they remain closely connected to the port and to the international markets in which they operate.
My role is to open doors, provide insight into the local market, and transform international contacts into tangible opportunities for businesses.
Matheus Dolecki, International Representative for Brazil
