To support smooth business transactions for customers shipping from Sudan, and recognizing that many customers manage their financial activities through the United Arab Emirates (UAE), we are pleased to advise that Freight Prepaid terms may be selected for export shipments, subject to the conditions below:
Key Conditions
- All freight charges must be invoiced to a UAE-based party. Freight invoices cannot be issued to Sudan-based customers.
- Customers may choose their preferred paying party, provided the billing party is located in the UAE.
- Freight payments will continue to be processed outside Sudan, and no freight collections will take place within Sudan.
Process Controls
To ensure compliance and billing accuracy:
- All invoices will be issued to the designated UAE-based payer.
- Our Customer Experience team will regularly review shipment records prior to Bill of Lading issuance to ensure freight charges are correctly assigned.
- Customers will be informed of any implementation changes in advance through official communications.
