A historic milestone was celebrated by the V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority in India, as it welcomed the docking of the CMA CGM Thorium at the Totorin International Container Terminal (TICT). With an overall length of 335.23 meters, it is the longest vessel ever handled at that port to date.
To celebrate this significant achievement, a commemorative ceremony was organized aboard the container ship, attended by Rajesh Soundararajan, Vice Chairman of the Port Authority, Deep K. Reddy, Director of TICT, Mr. Vijay, General Manager of CMA CGM, and the ship's captain, Ai Junhui.
The occasion included a warm welcome and a formal congratulation to the captain, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony, symbolizing the successful collaboration and coordinated efforts of all stakeholders.
