The China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) shipyard delivered the 60,000 DWT multi-purpose heavy-lift vessel Xing Fu to Cosco Shipping Specialized Carriers in Yangzhou.
This is the first vessel in a new series designed for the transport of project cargo and oversized equipment.
The Xing Fu has a length of 199.9 meters, a beam of 32.26 meters, and a structural draft of 13.5 meters. Its service speed is 14.4 knots and it has a range of up to 18,000 nautical miles.
The vessel has five large box-type holds with removable intermediate decks, allowing it to transport a wide range of project and general cargo.
On deck, the vessel incorporates four 150-ton single-jib cranes, which are capable of combined lifts of up to 300 tons.
The Xing Fu was designed as a core vessel for Cosco's project cargo fleet, integrating advanced environmental and intelligent technologies. Its main and auxiliary engines are equipped with SCR systems, complying with IMO Tier III NOx emission requirements.
The unit is equipped with four intelligent subsystems covering integrated vessel management, engine room monitoring, navigation, and energy efficiency.
This allows for real-time data sharing between ship and shore, digital equipment diagnostics, dynamic optimization of routes and speeds, as well as comprehensive energy consumption management.
Cosco Shipping Specialized Carriers announced that it will continue to expand its specialized heavy-lift fleet, focusing on sectors such as offshore wind energy, rail transport, and large-scale infrastructure equipment, offering global customers professional, efficient, and integrated logistics solutions for project cargo.
