Excelerate Energy Chooses Nord Gas Solutions for FSRU Regasification

Nord Gas Solutions secured a contract to supply the regasification system module for Excelerate Energy's (EE) first FSRU conversion project. The module will be installed aboard the Methane Patricia Camila, a 170,000 m³ LNG carrier that is being transformed into a floating storage and regasification unit.

"Nord Gas Solutions brings extensive experience in the design and delivery of regasification systems for the global LNG industry. Coupled with our long-standing relationship and their technical expertise, they became the ideal partner for Excelerate Energy's first FSRU conversion project," said David Liner, Chief Operating Officer of Excelerate Energy.

The NGS regasification module will be delivered during the first half of 2028. Once operational, the modified floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) will help expand access to cleaner, more affordable natural gas in the markets it serves.
