Saipem has been awarded a new offshore contract in Angola, valued at approximately $350 million, by Azule Energy Angola.
The company will be deployed for the West Hub Tails project, part of the Agogo West Hub Development, located 180 km off the coast of Angola, at depths of up to 1,750 meters.
Saipem's scope of work includes the engineering, fabrication, transportation, and installation of subsea infrastructures, including approximately 62 km of flowlines, risers, and umbilicals, which will be connected to the Agogo Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) unit, with an expected duration of approximately two and a half years.
Fabrication activities will be carried out at Saipem's Ambriz shipyard in Angola, with the involvement of local companies and workforce. For the offshore campaign, Saipem will deploy the construction vessels FDS and Normand Maximus.
