Manzanillo Increases Agricultural Bulk Movement by 7.9% in 2026

The Port of Manzanillo recorded a 7.9% increase in agricultural bulk movement between January and August 2026, mobilizing 1,302,047 tons, according to the National Port System Administration Manzanillo (Asipona). The main products were canola and oat seeds, as well as barley. The port's total commercial cargo reached 21,099,316 tons, with a growth of 6.2% compared to the same period in 2025.

The Port of Manzanillo recorded a 7.9% increase in agricultural bulk movement between January and August 2026.

According to statistics from the National Port System Administration Manzanillo (Asipona), 1,302,047 tons of this type of cargo were mobilized during this period, a figure higher than the 1,206,559 tons registered in the same period of 2025.

Among the main products that make up the agricultural bulk movement, canola and oat seeds, as well as barley, stood out. These goods are part of the commercial activity carried out through the Port of Manzanillo.

This growth was added to the positive performance of commercial cargo mobilized by the port facility, which from January to August reached 21,099,316 tons, representing an increase of 6.2% compared to the same period in 2025.
