Cuyutlán Beach Cleanup Brigade Collects 247.5 Kilos of Waste

Personnel from the National Port System Administration Manzanillo (ASIPONA), KMS Terminal, MG Tech, and students and workers from the Centro de Estudios Tecnológicos del Mar, carried out a cleanup brigade on Cuyutlán beach on Friday.

These actions are part of KMS's annual beach cleanup plan and the program maintained by the port administrator with the aim of strengthening the Port-City relationship and contributing to the care of natural spaces.

65 people participated in the day, and 247.5 kilograms of waste were collected, including PET bottles, caps, glass, clothing, shoes, and non-recyclable plastics, contributing to keeping the beaches clean and free of contamination.

For ASIPONA, beach care is a shared responsibility, which is why society is called upon not to leave waste and to make every visit to our coasts an opportunity to protect them.

According to the principles of the agency, small actions contribute to preserving these spaces for present and future generations.
