Vietnamese Crew Member Hospitalized with Hemorrhagic Fever in Talcahuano
A Vietnamese crew member was admitted to Las Higueras Hospital in Talcahuano, Chile, with a diagnosis of hemorrhagic fever, as reported by the Seremi de Salud of the Bio Bio Region, Isabel Rojas. The patient is a crew member of the Singapore-flagged chemical tanker NV Athena, which called on Monday, July 27. The crew remains in quarantine for epidemiological monitoring.
